Description

The CPO-RX Wireless Receiver is used in conjunction with other CaptureONE wireless devices; the CPO-TX, a wireless pulse-counting meter that stores and transmits metered pulses from a variety of utility metering devices and the CPO-RP (Signal Repeater) that receives, amplifies, and retransmits signals from CPO-TX devices and other CPO-RPs.

The CPO-RX receives the signal, decodes and converts it to a technology and protocol that can be directly output to a computer serial port in RS-232 data format.

The CaptureONE™ Wireless Receiver (CPO-RX) device is an integral CaptureONE device.

CPO transmissions use a frequency hopping, spread spectrum radio link, operating in the 902MHz to 928MHz band. By duplicating data and broadcasting redundant signals on multiple frequencies, the CPO-TX and CPO-RP devices minimize the potential for interference and missed signals.

For distances in excess of the CPO-TX transmitter’s range, and accounting for physical structure of the building(s) in which the system is installed, CPO-RP signal repeaters are installed during initial installation. Open field range of the CPO-RP repeater is 4 miles.
